Humber Valley RPC Holds Annual General Meeting

October 25, 2026

The club held its AGM bringing members together for a productive day of discussion, fellowship, and recognition.

With beautiful weather and a great turnout of flyers, the meeting included discussions about the upcoming racing season, potential release locations, and the direction members would like to see the UNC consider in the future. It was a positive and constructive discussion, with members sharing ideas, concerns, and suggestions for the seasons ahead.

Members also enjoyed a fantastic lunch, with special thanks to the HVRC Ladies Auxiliary for their help in making the day a success.

The meeting also included the presentation of awards recognizing the achievements of club members throughout the season. While Rebellion Loft had a strong showing across several categories, talent and success were evident throughout the membership.

Congratulations to all the award recipients, and thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion. Days like these are an important part of keeping our club strong and moving the sport forward.

We look forward to another great season of racing!

Member of the Year Award 2026

Congratulations to Simon Prigmore, our 2026 Member of the Year!

Although Simon is currently taking a break from flying while juggling other commitments, he continues to show up every weekend and remains an active and valued part of the club. He continues to take care of his responsibilities as Race Secretary and Band Secretary, as well as helping with lost and found birds.

Simon is always helpful, cooperative, and willing to lend a hand. His positive attitude and sense of humour make him a lot of fun to have around, and his continued dedication to the club does not go unnoticed.

Congratulations, Simon, and thank you for everything you do for the club!
